As Nigeria Loses To Ecuador 3 Best And 4 Worst Players

The Super Eagles of Nigeria faced their Ecuadorian counterparts in an international match at the Red Bull Arena in New Jersey.

Nigeria lost the match by a lone goal thanks to a header by Villarreal defender Pervis Estupinan in the 3rd minute.

The best players:

1. Alex Iwobi (): Everton’s midfielder started from where he stopped with an extremely impressive performance in the last versus Mexico. He was in the midst of everything good that took place in the game for Nigeria.

2. Cavin Bassey: The Rangers defender functioned as a left full back and very clinically shut down the attacks of Ecuadorians.

3. Francis Uzoho is: the Super Eagles goalie was really impressive today as he kept Nigeria in the game with a few superb saves. He would have got a clean sheet if the defenders had made a mistake.

The worst player:

1. Mr Faisal Sani: The midfielder of Katsina United has had a terrible game today. He was very poor in positional play. He made hardly any tackles or interceptions, as is typical of a midfielder. Even when in possession of the ball, he is going to often create a bad pass or get dispossessed easily. He made it possible for the Ecuadorians to take complete command of midfield as Defensive Midfielder. It is no wonder that he was substituted in the first phases of the second half.

2. Chidozie Awaziem: the Super Eagle’s left again had an awful game by his standard. His way of tackling was very erratic. In many instances, the Ecuadorians exploited his wing. The coach should have noticed that and quickly took him out before the second half started.

3. Moses Simon: the Super Eagles winger finished a few of the fantastic hits which were released by the team with his unnecessary dribbling. He was on the pitch among the most dispossessed players.

4. Moffi Terem Moffi: The attackers deployed today squandered some modifications, but Moffi was the toughest, the center forward did squander plenty of chances for the Super Eagles of Nigeria and was dispossessed more often than not..
